Carnegie Science Center

My last one for the week.... Carnegie Science Center.

Just like the zoo, this one appeals to everyone of all ages. The family membership is $150, but this includes 2 adults, 4 children, and 1 caregiver. So you can bring a friend to help rangle all the kiddos.

What's even more awesome about this pass is where all you can get in to! This is a membership to all the Carnegie museums plus 300 other science centers worldwide. Talk about opening a world of learning possibilities.

In case you're not sure of the Pittsburgh ones, they are Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, The Andy Warhol Museum, and the Carnegie Science Center.

We haven't gone to any of them recently, but we used to get this membership often in the past and always have enjoyed it. And can you believe that I've never been to The Andy Warhol Museum? I'm not even sure I've been on the bridge until the yarn bombing!

We stopped asking for this one when we realized the only thing Pumpkin would let us do here was the big ball area in the toddler section and water, so we decided to try the other venues I've mentioned throughout this past week. I think it was a good trade off, but now that she's older, I'm sure we'll be trying to go to these a little more often.

So what do you think? Did I inspire you to look around your city on newer areas to make memories? Or how about solve that dilemma for a Christmas gift for that family that has everything and/or doesn't ever want anything?

(Yes, she's pulling that lizard's tail.)

No matter what, memories are always a great gift to give, no matter how you can make them. So think outside the box a little this year and make some memories. After all, what are some of your favorite ones growing up?
