50th Post: Giveaway!

Can you believe it? I have successfully written 50 posts as of this one. That's a lot of words. Who knew I had so much to share with all of you?!

This giveaway isn't big, but it's a big deal for me. It's the first time I was given something to review, and to have to share with all of you. How exciting is that?!

Everyone, by now, should know I love my Keurig and coffee. Being a mom of 2 has made coffee my drug of choice, and the Keurig cuts down on my Starbucks bill greatly. So can you imagine how excited I was to be chosen as a "Chatterbox for GEVALIA Cafe-Style Beverages"?! That's officially what the letter calls me.

My directions are:
Share your honest opinion about the GEVALIA Cappuccino, Mocha Latte, and Caramel Macchiato.
Express my favorite flavors and how I like the 2 step process. (Yes, it's more then brew and go.)
   Upload photos.
How was it making it at home.
Use hashtag #GEVALIAChat to share about it.

The powder in the cup, pre-brew.

Not too much work to get some free coffee!

They included a box of Cappuccino for me to try. I'm not the biggest fan of Cappuccinos other than what you get at the local Uni-Mart. But let's face it, that stuff's just flavored sugar water... it's the "gateway" of coffee. This, however, was not.

The foaming started immediately once I started the brew cycle.

First you put the packet of powder for the foam in the cup. Then you use their k-cup to brew right over it. It was like magic. It truly created this nice thick foam. There was one little chunk of powder that didn't immediately dissolve, but a quick stir, and it was mixed in. The stirring didn't make the foam flat either.

It tasted like Cappuccino. That nutty-ish slightly bitter coffee taste with all the creaminess of foam on top. I like my coffee much sweeter than that, but this was still enjoyable. I plan on drinking the rest of the box!

Look at all that foam!

Notice how in my directions is says to tell my opinion about all 3 flavors, yet they only included 1 flavor? Well, guess what. That's because they included coupons to get the other flavors! Which means...

I am giving away a coupon good for 1 free 6 count package of GEVALIA Cappuccino, Caramel Macchiato, or Mocha Latte (up to $9.99)!

Isn't that exciting?! The coupon expires June 30, 2014, so you have time to cash it in.

Technically, I'm supposed to use this coupon to get the other flavors to finish my chatterbox review, but I liked it enough, that I plan on buying the Mocha Latte one myself. So I can share the wealth and let one of you lucky readers enjoy this foamy experience. It only works with a regular Keurig k-cup brewing system, though, so keep that in mind.

Those are those tiny coffee straws, I use 2. You can see how thick the foam is.
To enter, write in the comments below about how you like to enjoy your coffee. I will announce the winner here by the entry name they give. You must provide an e-mail so I can contact you to mail the coupon out. No e-mail provided = your entry does not count.

I will pick the winner on Monday, October 7th, and it will be posted about for that night's Midnight Mindness post (dated 10/8).

As said earlier in the post, I was compensated for this post, but all opinions, and the decision to give away one of my coupons, were completely mine.

That's so cool to finally get to say that at the bottom of a post!

  1. Congrats on your first giveaway! I love to enjoy my coffee in peace, but that never happens, so the next best way is while it's still hot.

  2. I like my coffee black, unless I'm having a Starbucks latte (which I order skinny). I also like my coffee in quiet - I set my alarm before my kids wake up so that I can have my first cup without distraction.
